Have Skills That Travel!

Remember, to select a database: use ...find journal articles on the Libraries' Web site.

If you need business articles, go to the Choose an indexing & abstracting Database page and choose Business from the Subject List for a business index. Similarly, for geological information, look on the Subject List under Geology.

And you know how to search Academic Search Elite, a general index. What about other article indexes? Won't they look different?

Yes. But once you've learned the basics, it will be like driving a car you've borrowed from a friend. You know that there's a switch to turn on the lights or the radio--you just need to locate the controls. Even though they may look different, article indexes have similar features. Check for help screens or ask a librarian.
