3. USING QUEST

Learning Objectives

This module covers searching Quest, the UNB Libraries catalogue.

When you have completed this module you should be able to:

  • Recognize that Quest contains more than books
  • Use a Quick Search to find books when you know the author or title
  • Find journals by browsing for Periodical Title
  • Find books on a topic by using either the Quick or Power Search
  • Identify the location of books or journals
  • Read a call number and use it to find items in the library
  • Find an item placed on reserve using a Reserve Desk search
  • Access your library account using User Services
