Where to Find a Book or Journal

Use information from its Quest record to find a book or journal.

Location
Check here to find out which UNB Library has the book or journal. In Example 1, the book is in the stacks of the Science and Forestry Library. In Example 2, there are 3 copies of the book: one copy is in the Government Documents section of the Harriet Irving Library, another copy is in the stacks of the Ward Chipman Library at UNB in Saint John, and the third copy is in the stacks of the Law Library. Call number
Write down the call number. It acts as the “address” of an item in the library. To find out where to go in libraries on the UNB-Fredericton campus you can:

  • Consult the floor plans of the Harriet Irving, Engineering, and Science and Forestry libraries
  • Ask at a Circulation or Information desk
