  • CASTA 2006
  • The fifth conference in a series of annual conferences known as CaSTA or the Canadian Symposium on Text Analysis, will be held at UNB October 11-14, 2006. This year's conference, Breadth of Text, will have its own distinct persona yet build on the past four CaSTA conferences. Breadth of Text will be a joint Computer Science - Humanities Computing Conference signaling the interdisciplinary nature of text analysis research and the face of CaSTA in 2006.

  • Text Analysis Portal for Research at UNB
  • TAPoR (Text Analysis Portal for Research) is a distributed text analysis research infrastructure. The University of New Brunswick TAPoR site is one of six regional centres nationwide providing access to texts, tools, and support for participating humanities computing researchers. History, literature, law, linguistics, multimedia-enhanced texts, and human-computer interaction issues are among the topics currently being explored through a diverse range of projects at UNB and across Canada.
